Practitioner Psychologist
Hello, I’m Laura, a HCPC-registered psychologist based in Glasgow with over 13 years of experience helping individuals navigate some of life’s most difficult moments. Whether you’re struggling with trauma, stress, low mood, relationship challenges or issues around self-worth, I offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space to explore what’s going on and begin the process of healing and change.
You might be dealing with overwhelming life transitions, feeling stuck in patterns of self-criticism, or experiencing challenges with assertiveness, substance use, or sexual thoughts and behaviours. Whatever your story, I provide an individually tailored therapeutic approach to help you understand your experience and reconnect with your strengths.
I draw from a range of evidence-based models, including:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Schema-Informed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Therapy with me is active, collaborative and focused on building practical skills to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and wellbeing.
In addition to my work with individuals, I have nearly a decade of experience training and supervising other mental health professionals. I’ve also developed therapeutic groups used nationally, giving me insight into what supports lasting change at both individual and systemic levels.
