Hello, my name is Lorna, a qualified cognitive behavioural therapist (CBT) and groupwork facilitator.   I am a registered member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

I would like to offer you a safe, accepting space, where we can work together to explore what is troubling you.

I have many years’ experience working within the social care sector, including; Victim Support Scotland; Scottish Cot Death Trust; Lilybank Money Advice Project; Quarriers and Renfrewshire Council Throughcare Service.   Throughout this time ,I have supported people through a wide range of life challenges and both past and present traumatic events.

Cognitive behavioural therapy is evidence-based and can help you to overcome negative thinking patterns and reduce symptoms of anxiety or low mood, while increasing your sense of self-worth CBT has proven to be an effective treatment for a wide range of issues including:

  • All types of anxiety and phobias
  • Low mood/depression
  • Self-esteem/confidence
  • Trauma

As the parent of two neurodivergent adult daughters, I have a personal understanding of experiences, both challenging and strengths -based, faced by individuals and the wider families.
