Counsellor
Hello, I’m Zenib Ali, a psychological therapist with over 12 years of counselling experience supporting adults from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. I provide a warm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk through life’s difficulties and work towards emotional wellbeing and greater self-understanding.
My approach is person-centred and integrative, tailored to meet your unique needs. Whether you’re facing a major life transition or feeling stuck due to ongoing stress or emotional challenges, therapy can help you make sense of what’s going on and build the resilience needed to move forward.
I have particular experience in working with:
Depression and anxiety
Burnout and stress
Low self-esteem and confidence
Relationship difficulties (domestic or workplace)
Life decisions and transitions
Bereavement and loss
Trauma and abuse
Counselling offers the opportunity to reflect, gain clarity, and develop new coping strategies. My aim is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply and finding ways to manage or change what feels overwhelming.
I currently work as a psychological therapist at the University of Strathclyde and with SACRO, a third sector organisation. I have also provided counselling in GP practices and university wellbeing services. I hold a Master’s degree in counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to their professional code of ethics.
